SETECH Value Proposition Questions

How does SETECH measure the cost savings they produce?

Cost savings metrics are an important part of the SETECH site management process. SETECH managers use a proprietary system to ensure program objectives are being achieved. Savings are validated by a client approval process that assures savings goals not only meet, but exceed client expectations. See our Cost Savings Program.

How does SETECH charge for services?

A project management fee is established based on a customer's MRO activity. This fee may contain a unique risk/reward program that provides the customer and SETECH an incentive-based method for focusing on mutually agreed upon program objectives. SETECH does not mark-up any product purchases; all purchases are passed on to our customer at cost.

What is covered in SETECH's Management Fees?

SETECH will procure all plant floor MRO supply items including optimized tool crib and warehouse inventory; manage the tool cribs and warehouses; provide the technical leadership that yields cost savings in costs areas of the tool cribs and warehouses and the customer's processes; systematically monitor key areas of tool crib and warehouse performance; and prepare performance reports for review with local Company site management.

How does SETECH differentiate from "distributor-based" integrators?

SETECH is a "Pure Integrator" and performs MRO supply management as a service open to all supply channels. The primary goal is to provide the lowest total costs to our customers. We operate under an open book auditable process to ensure all product costs are tracked and provided at cost to our customer with no additional mark-up. In addition, SETECH has no brand preference or franchised products that create additional revenue streams for the Integrator. Some of our customers continue to use existing commodity suppliers or catalogues for sourcing of product.

What if I am affiliated with a B2B consortium or online exchange already?

SETECH is e-commerce ready and capable of conducting business over any electronic exchange or consortium.
